Dallas Contractors Insurance Quote Part II
Dallas Contractors insurance general liability, 972-217-8907 It’s Wednesday and here we go into the second half of the week and thank you for coming by our website today. This is a part two, of a three part series on the anatomy of a quote. Now, here are the basics of how what goes into a quote. One of the glaring things is how fast a quote can be achieved. A quote has a few parts and of course the first part is the quote itself and if you trade the word quote for indication then you will have an ease of understanding what happens next in the world of Dallas contractors insurance general liability quote.
The quote part
Now, normally the quote will go pretty fast with little investigation into your company or your past and do remember this is just the start. Now this is just how things start and maybe not how things end. At first you may be asked questions such as.
- What do you do?
- Employees?
- Subcontractors?
- How long in business?
- How much experience
Now, there may be a lot more questions and again remember that we are working on the indication, because there is a larger investigation on the way if you like what you see so far.
The proof
If for example you have no losses in your past as in no Dallas contractors insurance general liability losses then you may be asked for proof. Things such as loss runs from you previous carrier is one thing that will be most likely needed to insure that your indication will be true to its numbers, meaning that the numbers (the price you pay may remain the same.) don’t change too much.
The Labor Cost
We will go over the labor cost, rates and exposures, yea all that fun stuff will be in the next article. So, this is where you might want to do some investigation with your agent if you use subcontractors. If you have subcontractors then you might what to have a list of exposures (what people do) with a labor cost attached to each. As an example you may have a person that does drywall you might want to supply your corresponding drywall labor cost along with the other exposures that you may have on your job sites.
The losses
Somewhere along the conversation will go the part do you have any losses and you may be asked too provide loss runs from your current insurance carrier. Now, I cannot you tell you that having prior insurance will give you a better quote, yet this can happen. You might want to ask the person that is supplying the quote if you supply loss runs from your prior carrier, if that will help your over all premium.
