Dallas: Happy New Year
Dallas General Liability, Contractors Insurance. IT’S ALLLLLL OVER…move over 14 and welcome to the contractors landscape here in Dallas for 2015. And here we go, today “NEW YEARS EVE” is brimming with ideas, plans for a new year a fresh start. Somewhere maybe in your brain (mentally), meaning somewhat metaphorically or did you write down your New Year’s resolutions? For this one day a year we say to ourselves tomorrow is not just another day it’s a new beginning. Subsequently, I am not immune to this tradition nor is “labor – force insurance” are going to come into the new year with a stronger more balanced attack of servicing our five state area and understanding better the complexities of Dallas general liability.
To start with
Our hours will increase: we will be in the office from 8AM til 7PM every week day. Our commitment in general is going to remain exactly the same – with an understanding that you cannot stay in business “giving all of your money to the insurance agent” WE want to answers questions to questions and move efficiently and quickly and have the products that you need again at the price that makes some kind of logic. Contractors build things, they work with her hands they work in the sun, they work in the bitter cold making something from basically wood, screws and knowledge. The reason that we are here is simple: how can we help? As a human you will need you understand that:
Things Go Wrong
Most contractors fall into the same condition as the rest of us, we may think they wear a cape but they don’t and they are human therein, things will go wrong accidents do happen although it may be rare it doesn’t change the reality that things can go wrong and wrong fast. That is the reason to buy different types of insurance. Here is a small example of trying to break that down a little bit.
Types of insurance
You have different types of risk, and remodeler is much less likely to have an electrical fire than electrician. An electrical fire with an electrician is considered a risk that is associated with that type of industry. You have different kinds of coverage’s because you have different kinds of exposure. Here is a little bit more of a generic example: You know that when you have an accident in your automobile you are not going to claim that on your homeowners insurance and of course there is always complications such as – your personal property (think laptop) is in your car and stolen and that will be claimed on your renters insurance or your homeowners insurance. Things get out of hand understanding insurance and that is why you absolutely positively want someone who is writing your policies to be licensed by the state of Texas. Some of the different exposures are:
- Workers’ Compensation
- Commercial Auto
- Dallas General Liability
- Inland Marine
- Life Insurance
Now, this list is far from exhaustive this is just an overview of the basics that you are probably want to consider why you’re out there building things with your hands in being a contractor in your community.
