Into the Weekend we go….well go to work
Dallas Contractors Insurance General liability: The end of a week, this is where your typical employee looks forward to the fruit of their harvest that comes in the form of a paycheck. Most of our clients may receive checks but they didn’t necessarily, schedule and Fridays sometimes representing the notion to get your rear-end in gear because the wife wants you home on Saturday night. Such is the life of many independents who work a lot of overtime long after that help and subcontractors of gone home to finish a job on time and getting ready for the next job and prepare (enter your company name here) – now experience dictates to us that money is important to the independent contractor. So let’s talk about that – your money, let’s talk about your money as concerns Dallas contractors insurance general liability.
Cold Hard Cash
You work for your money, there is no one who is questioning that at all. Most of the time when someone calls us they want to know things that pertain to bidding jobs such as the cost (premiums) of one’s general liability and there are hidden things that are not quite so obvious such as endorsements.
Usually things kind of go like this:
- How much
- How Fast
- Company AM Best Rating?
- Blanket endorsements
- Certificate: how fast
Now, there are things that are very obvious in things that are not so obvious: you may be the type of company that does not need “endorsements”, you may be the type of company that needs simple certificates and not having to adhere to any particular type of agreement therein, there is nothing to satisfy in a contractual manner in the way of endorsements.
The incredible non-edible website
Now, you may not have a website, however if you do what is on your website is ultimately important when it comes to underwriting. As an example let’s say that you are painting contractor and you paid a good price for a website that is floating out here in cyberspace. The name of your company will go through a search process (i.e. someone is going to Google your company name and you) and look it said website. It is not impossible/uncommon for someone to put exposure on their website that they do not traditionally do in their day to day operations: Think remodeler that has roofing is website; this exposure is very expensive and “if” – this is on your website, then the underwriter is going to make a few request.
Concealment
Not intentionally most of the time, yet if you have things on your website that are not disclosed on your Dallas contractors insurance, general liability then you could come up with an underwriting problem. At this point to no guarantee of exactly what is going to happen but the scenario could play out like: the company could cancel your policy or charge you for this exposure on your Dallas Contractors insurance General liability Policy
