It’s Monday all over America
Dallas Contractors Insurance, General Liability: We are here today and always ready to answer your questions concerning your commercial insurance in Dallas/Fort Worth, North Texas and Texas in general. You may be a commercial contractor or a residential specialist and the both of you may be looking for coverage and from experience we have found that there will be three categories that are of the most concern. General questions that most everyone falls into: How Fast – How Much: (when can this be put in place.) and what is covered. We will address some of these questions today and as a reminder if you have any other question(s) we remind you that we put up an article every day, meaning we go over a lot in a year. Dallas Contractors Insurance, General liability let’s talk speed.
How Fast
Now, as a whole we will be answering questions generically and more specifically our answers will be slanted toward the companies that we currently work with. Companies that protect you and your assets. Remember, we are talking about protecting you and your assets and ultimately your family. Here in cyberspace, fast is not always better and we try to offer options for coverage’s depending upon what your company is going to need when it concerns your “COI” – certificate of insurance. Generally the questions for a quote are going to go pretty much like this:
- Experience
- Losses
- Licensed
- Web-Site?
- Labor Cost
The above is a long way from exhaustive as an example one of the questions that are going to be asked what percentage of commercial versus residential work do you do in your your day to day operations? There may be more specific concerns that the company may (most likely) be concerned with i.e. what is your labor cost (ALL labor cost) and yes that means listing the subcontractors. Dallas Contractors insurance, general liability can be very important to the sustainability of your Company. A large claim can dampen the most glorious day. There is no perfect protection that I know of, yet solid planning may help if there were a claim.
How Much
How much, what is this going to cost me (put your company name here) is always a concern because we live in a budget conscious country. The burden of price is sometimes going to be directly related to the company that you place your business with. Companies have ratings and the standard rating company as far as we know is A.M. Best: there may be others but our understanding is that this is the gold standard. So there’s going to be a difference in premium when you have an A+ – 15 with blanket endorsements versus an A- 5 company that is not as fluid with their endorsement packages.
Dallas Contractors Insurance
Yes, in most cases this can be put together today for you – in other words there can be a binding and here are some generalizations that you might want to consider – if you have a website believe me the underwriters are going to find “IT” and they’re going to scrub and scour “IT” to be sure that the exposures that we have put on the application are the same exposures that are on your website. We will be talking about the quote through most of this week so check back with us tomorrow Tuesday and we will have more information.
Disclaimer
Now, if you ask us the question: if an agent wrote this then why the Disclaimer? On the surface this would seem like the most logical question and on the surface this would seem as though we really didn’t have a grasp of the industry if we needed a disclaimer. Logical question yes, here is our answer. We can not read every policy therein, we can not know the policy language of each. That is my way of saying I just don’t know what you have so, I can hardly give you advice on your policy. To do so would be reckless and unprofessional. This blog all of this is just my opinion, my personal opinion.
