Sales- think about it
If a company does not sell you a policy then the company will make no profit, so to say that we in the industry are in the sales game is like saying that a fish is a swimmer. Yes that “Sales” thing is inherent to the landscape of the industry yet it’s just not cut and dry as it may seem. The story here can get long winded that is why this is going to be a three part series on coverage, ratings and Admitted and Non-Admitted insurance carriers. Now we start at the quote and some quotes are going to come at you faster than others. There is a reason for that, think internet.
Web Portales
There are web portals that allow some agency’s to get a faster quote, just like when you fill in the data fields for a personal insurance quote the quote comes back fast. There can be some information that you might want to know. The “Quote” may not be the final answer, not always but it is possible. Here is one example:
Website
Let’s say that you have been in business for 5 years without having any claims. You get a new policy and then you get strange call from the person that sold you the policy. There is something on your website that says you do concrete work and there is nothing about that concrete work on your Dallas contractors general liability application. NOT one thing.
